1. buyer sends to seller a loi
2. seller issues a fco to buyer
3. buyer accepts fco by signing and returning it to seller
4. on seller's initiative, both parties sign spa and lodge it in their respectiv banks
5. buyer's bank issues an irrevocable and tansferable lc confirmed by a fisrt class international bank for the whole amount of the 1st transaction (sblc for the following)
6. seller makes on behalf of the buyer a 10% down payment to the rifenery (just for the 1st transaction)
7. preparation and shipping of the cargo cif to the seller delivery port
8. at the expenses of the buyer, the inspection of the cargo is made by an independant mutually agreed inpsector
9. upon the inspection report on the quantity and the qaulity, buyer's bank issues a mt103 for the payment into the seller's bank.
10. the cargo is discharged into the buyer's tank farm at the delivery port
