sugar beet pulp is desugared beet chips containing about 6.0 7.5% dry matter, including 0.2 0.4% sugar. beetroot bagasse is a by product of the beet sugar production process and occupies the main mass share of the process products (80% of the mass of processed sugar beets with a dry matter content of about 6.5%). sugar beet pulp used for feed livestock in terms of its nutritional value, pulp occupies a middle place between hay and oats and is therefore a good feed for livestock. its dry matter contains up to 50% pectin, about 47% cellulose and hemicellulose, 2% protein, 1% ash, and the water contains sugar, organic acids, vitamins and microelements.
