procedure for cif.
1. buyer accept to work with sellers procedure.
2. seller issue contract for buyer to sign.
3. buyer s bank issue mt799 blocked funds for 90 days + 1.. (for spot delivery of 2m barrels) or 360 days + 1 ( for 1 year term contract with rolls and extensions)
4. seller confirms blocked fund and nominate and load vessel.
5. all original documents of loading will be in both buyer and sellers name.
6. vessel captain issues nor/eta to buyer s port of discharge.
7. buyer s port shipping agent prepare the vessel for clearance at port of discharge.
8. vessel sails to buyer s port of discharge.
9. upon arrival q n q is done.
10. buyer makes payment according to result of qnq.
11. vessel discharge the crude oil upon confirmation of payment.
