the client issues an icpo and provides their cis.2. the supplier establishes a signed spa and a pro forma invoice which they send to the buyer.3. the buyer signs and returns the invoice to the seller.4. the buyer's bank requests all document copies from the seller's bank via swift mt199. 6. within 7 working days of receiving the documents, the buyer's bank must establish the mt799 or mt103/72 block of funds or any equivalent banking instrument.7. after confirmation of the swift mt103/72 or mt799, the ship's captain issues the maritime nor/eta and initiates communication with the buyer's port captain and buyer's maritime agent. the seller sends copies of transport/cargo documents destined for the buyer.8. upon arrival at the buyer's port, the seller's captain issues the maritime atb for the buyer's inspection team to board accordingly for q&q/ciq calibration.9. upon arrival of the ship, after inspection and payment of 100% of the mt103, the seller's bank sends the original documents to the buyer's bank.
