procedure is simple :
the buyer sends an icpo dated at least within the last 3 days+ copy of passport+trade licence
seller issues a proforma invoice and fco
if buyer agrees; supplier sends a spa (2% performance bond clause) to buyer's bank.
buyer issues a block fund in buyer's name with spa (guarantee that money will be there at destination port) and swift notification to seller's bank
the seller sends the copies of the ship's documents (bl, sgs, imo and documentary binder) to the buyer
vessel directed to port of destination
q&q and compliance check and mt103 payment against original documents.
