ads description

This wine is produced in the Mornag A.O.C. area, located in the northeastern part of the country, opened to the sea and benefiting from a Mediterranean climate. This region honours the Carthaginian Magon, the worshipped Master of agronomy and oenology, who cultivated his grapes near the village of Majus in the south of Carthage and certain rules of whom are nowadays still used.

The grapes of Syrah and Merlot are hand harvested and traditionally processed with a rigorous control of the temperatures. A15 day maceration allows the extraction of the maximum aromas and phenolic compounds. The wine is then aged in French oak barrels during 12 months then refined in the bottle at La Fontaine aux Mille Amphores cellar.

Its deep ruby colour and its purple reflections, its red fruits aromas such as the cherry and the prune, of toast and vanilla and its mouth height and obstinacy, allow this special wine to get married perfectly with grilled or roasted beef meat, or stuffed peppers.
