this wine is produced in the mornag a.o.c. area, located in the northeastern part of the country, opened to the sea and benefiting from a mediterranean climate. this region honours the carthaginian magon, the worshipped master of agronomy and oenology, who cultivated his grapes near the village of majus in the south of carthage and certain rules of whom are nowadays still used.
